For Our New Visitors
Welcome!
Nice of you to visit our website!
Speaking of websites...
www
The World Wide Web has become an indispensable part of our time. We make grateful use of it every day in our daily life.
With a search function as a tool, we end up on websites that provide information.
Life questions such as:
- who am I
- where do I come from
- where am I going
are inward-looking questions and play an important role in our lives! Who you might have thought about these questions too.
This website serves as an invitation to our activities in the Sai Temple and in the LIfe School located in Onderdijk, Holland.
We don't promise a high speed line to 'Enlightenment'; but we do strive to enlighten your life path by simply getting on the road with each other and becoming proficient in the art of living.

What do G. K. S. stand for in the logo?
G nana (wisdom, knowledge of yourself)
K arma (move, work, act)
S angam (coming together, sathsang)
Where wisdom, knowledge and work go hand in hand, inner growth can take place.
The lotus is a symbol of human growth, purity and contact with the soul.
With its roots in the mud, the lotus rises from the water, without a single splash of mud on its flower, determined to reach the sunlight.
This is what we as GKS & Sai Temple stand for and what we strive to achieve.
There is no membership attached to the Sai Temple. Everyone who feels at home with our ideas is welcome to participate in the activities.
Why should I get involved with this 'club'?
"Shouldn't think of getting involved with some vague, so-called spiritual organisation or sect," you may say! It is important to always remain critical of your spiritual path.
We, the GKS in general, have no intention to win souls. A contribution to the Sai Temple is certainly appreciated; most activities in and around the Sai Temple are free and without obligation. Above all, we focus on the deeper meaning of Life.
You may feel lonely on your inner path, or that you have trouble finding your place in an existing church organisation. It may also be that something, without understanding how or why, 'resonates' when you are reading our website. Have you now become curious?
We are literally and figuratively, very accessible, partly because of our work experience with people. Sometimes visitors ‘walk’ with us for a while, before choosing their own path! So many people, so many roads. Others experience the temple as a warm blanket and stay.
A chosen form or just the formless, whatever appeals to you most, will prove to be the best path to realising that the divine principle 'Divinity' is present in each of us.
